Craft 2026 is an exhibition of contemporary craft with ceramics, glass textiles and metalwork from established professionals and emerging creatives from the UK, Europe, North America, Africa and East Asia as well as our annual exhibition of DMU Design Craft second year student work.
Half the exhibition was selected from an open call by a panel of professionals. The other half is made up from DMU Design Craft second year students self-initiated projects.
This year the DMU students had the opportunity to work in collaboration with glass students at Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, South Africa. TUT students will be displaying their work digitally alongside DMU’s students’ physical work and later in the summer our students’ work will be exhibited as part of the 2026 Glass Safari at the Pretoria Arts Association in South Africa.
